How Do I Upload Modules to Fantasy Grounds

How do I install modules and extensions?

I empathize that you only copy the .mod files into the modules directory, but what do y'all exercise with the .ext files? I'm missing something because I don't seem to be getting the extensions installed correctly. For instance, the Savage Worlds calendar module shows upward under module activation, but there doesn't seem to be any way to really open up or use the calendar in the software. I'm really dislocated. Did I somehow only partly install things? I have the FGPEMUtility.exe, just there is no documentation for it and I don't understand how to use information technology.

You put them in the "extensions" folder. Information technology should be in the same place where your "modules" binder resides. If it's not there, just create one.

Once you have put the extension in the \extensions folder, first FG and go to "Load Campaign" or "New Campaign" - when yous select a campaign you volition see a list of extensions in the "Campaign Details" department - these are extensions specific to the ruleset you will employ. Select which extensions yous want to load.

For the SW Agenda extension, when you load the FG campaign you will come across a new icon in the top right - information technology looks similar a small clock, this is the calendar.

General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the gamble to respond and learn!

Cheers! That fixed information technology! I was putting the .ext files in the wrong place. It's all working at present.

I have the .mod file for the Claret Hunter class. Tin can i put it in Fantasy Grounds or does the person who has the license take to do it?

If you have no license you cannot save so you need a license to practice this. Plus yous would have to make a module or get the GM to transport you his campaign so you tin edit information technology and so return it to him.

If only yous want to use it, then y'all can install it in your <FG app data>\modules directory. And, when joining a GM's game, ask them to allow you admission to it in their campaign.

I'chiliad not familiar with the module y'all mention, and so I don't know what the license is for it - if it is covered past copyright, etc. then you lot shouldn't send that module file to your GM - just enquire them to enable your admission to it in their campaign, and simply yous will be able to access the data in that module.

Sorry should have read more carefully. I idea you were proverb you had the PDF and wanted to know if you lot tin enter the course manually. (Still not sure if that is what you meant but information technology is hard to go used to FG terminology for a new user sometimes)
